taken to the Backgrounds screen.
When you're done choosing a background, you'll return to the Main screen.
If you would rather use your own background image, click
Upload. Browse your computer and select the image file.
(.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, and .bmp are accepted. 2MB max. )
Pick a large image so, if you choose a high background resolution,
it won't have to be stretched to fit.
If the image is valid, you will see it appear in the square between the buttons.
The image will appear as your background the next time you generate one using the
Preview, Download, or Auto-Submit
buttons.
Logo Image Control
The control has two buttons: Remove and Upload.

(.jpg, .jpeg, .gif, .png, and .bmp are accepted. 2MB max.)

The image will appear as your logo the next time you generate a background using the
Preview, Download, or Auto-Submit
buttons.
If you click Remove the square will clear and no logo will appear in your sidebar.
Background Dimensions Control
This control changes the size of the background image. Usually, this is kept on the default setting of Original and is only changed to stretch an uploaded background image that is too small.
Selecting a different background resolution will not effect the resolution of the sidebar, but it may effect the length of the sidebar. For example, if the height of the background image is decreased, then there is less room for the sidebar and information will be removed to shorten it.
The amount of the sidebar the user sees is determined by the resolution of the user's desktop and the size of their browser window. For example, if they're using a laptop and have a small resoltion - they're not going to see a lot. If they have a large monitor, they're going to see the whole sidebar.
Important: The sidebar does not scroll, because the Twitter background image does not scroll
Click the dropdown and then select the desired dimensions from the list.
Selecting Original keeps the background the dimensions of the original image.
You will notice the dimensions change the next time you generate a background using the Preview, Download, or Auto-Submit buttons.
You can experiment with your sidebar layout by showing, hiding, or changing the order of the different parts.
The three different sidebar parts are represented by the squares on the left of the control.
Click on the name of the part you want to change.
The Listings part is only available to premium customers.
The buttons available to you are now lit up in blue on the right.

If you Show or Hide a part, you'll see the lettering in the square change. It fades if you Hide it and darkens if you Show it.
A part that you Hide will not be visible in your sidebar when you create your background. Alternately, a part that you Show will be visible.
If you move a part up or down, you'll see the square move up or down indicating the order it will be displayed in the sidebar.
